TESTIMONIALS

Jo has been helping me with all my various injuries over the last ten years. I can only say that without her help I would be unable to live the full life that I do now. I was diagnosed with severe back problems but with her help I continue at 71 to partake in tennis games, ski holidays and live a totally normal life. I cant speak more highly of her, and her classes.

I’ve seen Jo for over four years and now at 79 years old the work that Jo has been and is crucial following orthopaedic ops : and developing Osteoporosis. Jo and Pilates has “kept me together” and able to exercise my boisterous English Setter. Jo is passionate about Pilates and keeps abreast of new guidelines e.g. from the Osteoporosis Society. Now I have joined a Zoom class, I recommend Jo who in my experience is a safe and patient teacher, lovely woman with an engaging personality.

I have been going to Pilates with Jo for three years now, she is a brilliant teacher who totally understands EDS and the complexities that go with it. I have been to many classes over the years and have never continued with these as I always ended up hurting myself. Jo always ensures I move correctly and has helped me to improve my stamina and muscle strength without any injuries.

After my stroke a few years ago I was determined to walk again and throughout my recovery Jo consistently encouraged me with positivity and kept me battling on. I was easily exhausted with little balance but with her and my effort things improved. In a way my brain had blown a fuse and I had to learn to walk again. That was something she clearly understood and she would push me to do what I could manage. She never overstrained my body or made me feel I could not do something without practice. I am eternally grateful for my mobility as I am walking now without a walking aid and for Jo and her patience through this very challenging time in my life.
