Welcome to Daley Pilates
As a Pilates teacher I am passionate about finding movement that is accessible to everyone as well as creating a space of trust for a supportive experience in each session. My classes focus on the fundamentals of the Pilates Method following a traditional order with diversity often inspired by other disciplines and new ideas to adapt to each person discovering their best potential in moving with ease and finding a sense of well-being.
I am really excited to offer you classes based in Gloucestershire at my beautiful home studio in Painswick equipped with the Cadillac, Reformer, Chairs and Barrels as well as online sessions from the comfort of your own homes and in person group mat classes in the Painswick village halls.
My Journey
Like many I found Pilates through the process of recovery from an injury and I discovered the benefits immediately in helping to stabilise my joints and discovering how to move efficiently. I was amazed by the quick results and subsequently trained as a Comprehensive Body Control Pilates Studio Teacher.
My personal journey has led me to a deeper understanding of how to move pain free and effectively build strength, improve performance and reduce injuries. My sessions are a space for each individual to find their ultimate potential in movement and also the strength in accepting limitations and progress with ease and support well-being.
In my sessions there is a strong connection between myself and my clients where each class is met with compassion and the open space for awareness to grow, value based actions initiated and individual goals achieved by maintaining contact with each moment throughout the class.
“be present, open up, and do what matters”.

My approach
In each class you will move through a full range of movements and follow a traditional order with different challenges added using small props to promote the mind-body connection. The sessions are fresh and challenging and each time you will feel the the length in the spine and the balance between strength and flexibility of this full body workout. Each moment is an opportunity to discover a connection through silence, guidance through a touch, imagery and skilful teaching supported with kindness, empathy and fun.
The passion that I have for sharing this method and the joy to practice consistently drives me to continually search, train and develop my knowledge of the human body and movement. As Joseph Pilates quoted, “Change happens through movement , and movement heals.”
It is throughout my journey of exploration of the Pilates Method a deep appreciation has unfolded in the seriousness of the work but also the fun to be experienced within this lifelong learning course, it is this that I am passionate about teaching and guiding individuals to embody and develop within themselves and offering Pilates to everybody.
