Policy
Watches and Jewellery: Please leave at home or remove watches, jewellery and fitness trackers for lessons. This is to prevent injury to you and my apparatus. I am not liable for the loss or damage of watches or jewellery.
Zips: Please wear suitable fitness clothing with no zips or buttons as these can damage the apparatus.
Health Forms: All forms must be submitted before attending a lesson. Any changes in health circumstances must be reported before your lesson and new forms completed.
Coughs, Colds and Covid: Please stay at home if you or anyone in your household is ill.
Cancellation: Joanne Daley Pilates requires at least 24 hours notice should a client wish to cancel or amend a booking. Late cancellations or amendments will be charged at the full rate.
Late Payment Policy: Payment due 24 hours before each session. Reminder Invoices £15 each from day 14 and again after day 21. If payment is not made within 28 days of initial invoice, a third party debt collection agency will be employed and any fees incurred will be added to the invoice.
Liability Waiver
Classes with Daley Pilates (online, in studio and on demand) are not a substitute for medical care, and offers no health warranties or guarantee of any kind. The information I provide is not intended as a substitute for medical advice from your GP or health professional. If you have any doubts then please contact me and your medical practitioner before signing up.
Daley Pilates cannot accept liability for personal injury related to participation in a session online, in person or on demand if i) your doctor has advised you against exercise on medical grounds ii) you fail to observe instructions or safety techniques iii) is caused by the negligence of another participant iv) you fail to disclose any new medical conditions or injuries at the start of the session. If during the class you experience pain or discomfort you must stop immediately and notify the teacher.
Daley Pilates is not suitable if you are pregnant, less than 12 weeks post natal, have a specific medical condition or injury that requires a specific exercise plan or where Pilates exercises could be a contraindication. Please consult with a health professional before starting a new exercise programme and follow their safety recommendations.
By signing up to Daley Pilates Zoom Classes or completing On Demand / online tutorials I can confirm that I am clear to exercise and I am voluntarily engaging in an acceptable level of exercise, and my participation involves a risk of injury. I will work at an appropriate level for myself and stop if I feel pain or discomfort.
